Hauling Along Grangeville Boulevard, Road 68, Tulare Avenue, Kansas Avenue, State Route 43, Orange Avenue And Fifth Avenue In Kings County

KINGS COUNTY, CALIF. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along Grangeville Boulevard, Road 68, Tulare Avenue, Kansas Avenue, State Route (SR) 43, Orange Avenue and Fifth Avenue in Kings County to transport girders to a high-speed rail construction site. Hauling is scheduled intermittently between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. starting Thursday, Oct. 30 through Monday Nov. 10, 2025.

This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.

All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
