Haul Route;
Materials will be hauled west on Avenue 120 in Porterville, CA; south on Road 264, west on Avenue 95/Terra Bella Avenue, south on Road 192, west on Avenue 56/Sierra Avenue, south on State Route (SR) 43, then west on Avenue 24 to a high-speed rail construction site.

Drivers may experience delays.

Description

Tulare County, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along Avenue 120, Road 264, Avenue 95, Road 192, Avenue 56, State Route (SR) 43, and Avenue 24 in Tulare County to transport materials to a high-speed rail construction site. Hauling is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Wednesday, Sept. 17 through Friday, Oct. 17, 2025.

This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.

All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
